STOPTOBER: Smoking Facts, Statistics & The Bigger Picture

How much do you really know about smoking?

Join us online for an interactive and eye-opening session exploring the facts, statistics and wider impact of smoking.

We’ll be looking at everything from who smokes and smoking inequalities to what’s actually inside a cigarette and how smoking affects the body.

We’ll also explore:

• Smoking and the menopause
• How smoking affects your mind and wellbeing
• The benefits of quitting smoking
• The impact smoking can have on your appearance
• The financial impact of smoking
• How smoking can affect the people around you
• Some surprising facts and statistics
• Where to find free support if you want to make a change

There’ll be a quiz, surprising facts and plenty of opportunities to get involved and test what you think you know.

Whether you smoke, have smoked in the past, are thinking about quitting, or simply want to learn more, everyone is welcome.

No judgement. No pressure. Just honest information, interesting facts and a conversation.
